Wavertree Hall is a Premier Equestrian Riding and Training Facility nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Albemarle County Virginia. We are a full care horse boarding and training barn servicing Charlottesville, Waynesboro, and surrounding areas. Conveniently located just 20 minutes outside of Charlottesville, Va., and the University of Virginia, we are easily accessible from Routes 81, 64, 250, and 29. INSTRUCTOR'S CERTIFICATON PROGRAM
"TEACHING OF JUMPING" WORKSHOP:
WITH MR. ROBIN WALKER, from
GREAT BRITAI
We had a very successful and productive Eventing Workshop this August with Robin joining us from his home base in Michigan! Three jam packed days of information with 32 rides made for a busy and diverse learning opportunity! Day one was Show Jumping, Days 2 & 3 were Cross Country!
Six candidate instructors got the chance to teach a variety of horse/rider combinations from Beginner Novice to Preliminary, and hone their skills to create a progressive and safe lesson plan moving forward in their careers as professionals. The candidates must participate in both a dressage and jumping workshop before taking their assessment to become a certified instructor with the USEA.
I would like to thank Robin, the ICP Candidates, and all of the demo riders and volunteers for taking part in the program!

Wavertree Hall is an "all around" Equestrian Facility for all disciplines of horseback riding. We accommodate all ages of horses and riders from older adults to youth, including Grandparents, 4-H and Pony Clubbers, and College Students! We travel to Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, and Eventing Competitions in the Region, Foxhunt, and Trail ride as well!
